From majestic villas on Lake Como to sumptuous palaces in Verona, and even the enchanting Isola del Garda, these dreamy venues are perfect for creating unforgettable memories and capturing unique photographs.

Villa Monastero – Lago di Como

On the calm shore of Como Lake in Varenna, Villa Monastero will welcome you with its amazing views.

As a luxury wedding venue it is a gem of elegance and sophistication. This splendid historical residence boasts lush gardens and panoramic terraces overlooking the lake. Its sumptuous interiors, with frescoed halls and exquisite architectural details, provide a romantic setting for ceremonies and receptions. Imagine capturing photos with the backdrop of the lake and the surrounding mountains—a true wonder for the eyes.

It’s also perfect if you’re looking for a location only to take couple photos. By making arrangements with the management, you can have access to the gardens directly overlooking the lake.

Palazzo Verità Poeta – Verona

Sumptuous, splendid, breathtaking. That’s how I would describe this luxury wedding venue. If you dream of a luxurious wedding in the romantic city of Verona, Palazzo Verità Poeta is a perfect choice. This historical palace, located in the heart of the city, offers marvelous frescoes, internal courtyards, and timeless elegance. Its unique architecture and aristocratic atmosphere create an extraordinary setting for exclusive weddings. Imagine capturing photos in the frescoed halls or in the romantic courtyard—it will be like being transported into a Renaissance fairy tale.

It’s also perfect if you’re looking for a winter wedding venue, as was the case with Enrico and Giulia and their enchanting Christmas wedding in the palace halls.

Plus tip: If the weather permits, consider taking a stroll in the center of Verona for some romantic shots in the city streets. This palace is right in the center town.

Villa Rizzardi – Valpolicella

Nearby Verona you can’t miss Villa Rizzardi in the amazing Valpolicella land. It’s a noble residence surrounded by vineyards and a splendid Italian-style garden. This breathtaking villa harmoniously combines historical elegance and natural beauty. In particular, the historic garden and the fountains create an idyllic setting for a luxury wedding. Imagine getting lost in the tree-lined paths or on the panoramic terraces—every corner of this venue is perfect for creating timeless images.

I have captured several weddings here, and it is one of my favorite locations due to the variety of spaces and settings it offers, all of them poetic. It is a constant source of inspiration!

Isola del Garda – Lago di Garda

Let’s move on Garda Lake where we find Isola del Garda, a breathtaking venue, house of the Borghese Cavazza family. This private island offers a unique setting for luxury weddings. You can celebrate the ceremony on one of the picturesque panoramic terraces or in the flower gardens, while the backdrop of the lake and mountains creates a magical atmosphere. Capturing photos here always enchants me, with the enchanting lakeside landscapes and the sumptuous interiors of the villa that dominates the island.

I warmly suggest you to book a motorboat trip to capture unforgettable shots with the villa in the background, just like Toby and Vanessa did.

Villa dei Cipressi – Lago di Como

Another amazing wedding venue in Como Lake is Villa dei Cipressi in Varenna, not far from Villa Monastero, You’ll find a stately residence immersed in a centuries-old park. This lakeside villa offers splendid terraces and Italian gardens that create a magical atmosphere for your luxury wedding. Its elegant halls and outdoor spaces are ideal for romantic ceremonies and classy receptions. You can capture unforgettable moments with the backdrop of the sparkling lake waters or the historic gate located at the dock.

Lucy and Laurie chose to set their lakeside ceremony and dinner on the enchanting terrace. My advice is to wait for the sunset hour to capture spectacular couple photos by the lakeshore.

Torre San Marco – Gardone Riviera

Set in the charming town of Gardone Riviera, Torre San Marco it’s a luxury wedding venues that will leave you speechless. This medieval tower, surrounded by a lush Italian garden, offers a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Garda. Choosing this venue for your luxury wedding means immersing yourself in history and enjoying a breathtaking view. When I took photos on the tower, in the harbor, and among the garden paths, I immediately knew the result would be wow!

As a photographer, I recommend you to climb up the tower for a shot with the panoramic view of the lake.

Villa Bettoni – Lago di Garda

Located on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda, Villa Bettoni is a sumptuous villa preceded by a marvelous Belvedere with an Italian garden at the back. This elegant and refined villa offers a romantic and evocative atmosphere and is highly renowned as a luxury wedding venue. Its frescoed halls that directly overlook the lake create an ideal backdrop for your photographs. The front of the villa is enchanting and provides a docking point for boats, so a boat excursion is a must for your photos.

Among the most beautiful spots to photograph are the side terrace, where you can enjoy an exceptional view of the facade and the lake, and the internal staircase, which is definitely not to be missed.
