An intimate wedding at Villa Pellegrini in Romagnano
Villa Pellegrini in Romagnano is an elegant and intimate venue, perfect for couples dreaming of an intimate wedding in Verona surrounded by nature. With its beautiful view over Valpantena and the vineyards all around, it also offers the perfect backdrop for wedding photography.

Paula and Marius chose to experience both their getting ready moments and the reception here, making the day even more relaxed and allowing time to truly enjoy the people who mattered most.
Getting ready: champagne and emotion-filled moments
The getting ready moments of this wedding at Villa Pellegrini were among the most spontaneous and heartfelt of the entire day.
Before slipping into her dress, the bride shared a joyful moment with her friends: a champagne toast, laughter, and that electrifying feeling that only the hours before “I do” can bring.

At the same time, the groom enjoyed a quiet moment with his friends, sharing laughter and light-hearted memories before the ceremony.

The ceremony at the Orthodox church in Verona
Paula and Marius live in London but are of Romanian origin, so the ceremony took place at the Orthodox church in Verona.
Because it was an intimate wedding, every glance, every word and every gesture was deeply felt and shared. Personally, this is the second time I have photographed a wedding with this type of ceremony, and once again I was fascinated by the repeated rituals. An intense and emotional moment that added even more meaning to the entire day.

Rain, brave choices and an unexpected rainbow
It was July, but rain and grey skies accompanied us for most of the day. Despite this, the couple decided to take the risk and confirm their outdoor dinner at Villa Pellegrini, with a long imperial table set in the courtyard overlooking the valley.
A brave choice that was rewarded: as evening approached, the sky cleared, gifting not only an outdoor dinner under the stars but also a spectacular double rainbow.

The rain, instead of ruining the day, gifted us wow moments, romantic atmospheres and a unique light that made this wedding at Villa Pellegrini even more special.
Delicate florals and dusty blue tones made the long imperial table enchanting, beautifully designed by Tania Muser.

A unique bridal dress full of personality
The bride’s dress was one of the most original and refined gowns I have ever photographed.
Originally designed as a long dress, it was shortened to ankle length, making it truly unique and perfectly aligned with Paula’s personality and the vintage mood of the wedding. The bow straps, long veil and impeccable fit made it feel tailor-made for her.

In the evening, the bride changed into a dance dress that allowed her to fully enjoy the celebration.
Authentic emotions and speeches that moved everyone
One of the most beautiful aspects of this intimate wedding at Villa Pellegrini was the depth of emotion throughout the day.
With only a few guests, all chosen with love, every moment was lived intensely. The speeches during the reception moved everyone, creating an intimate, genuine and deeply human atmosphere.

A first dance that amazed everyone
Marius is a breakdance dancer and, together with Paula, surprised their guests with an emotional and energetic first dance medley.
A moment of pure energy which was the perfect balance between fun and emotion, officially opening the party.

My approach: capturing beauty and authenticity
Paula and Marius wanted a wedding they could fully experience, without interruptions.
That’s why we chose to take photos during the aperitivo, ensuring their memories were beautifully captured without taking time away from moments shared with their guests. We moved to the vineyard area, where both Francesca — the videographer I often collaborate with and who shares my same approach and love for this work — and I created a relaxed and natural atmosphere.
When I tell a wedding story, my goal is always the same: to capture real emotions, spontaneous details and gestures that truly reflect the couple’s personality.
